Saskatchewan Games officials voluntarily observe a high level of conduct, not because of fear of penalty, but rather out of personal character. They accept responsibility for their actions and believe the duty of sports officials is to act as impartial judges of sport competitions. This duty carries with it an obligation to perform with accuracy, fairness and objectivity through an overriding sense of integrity. To this end, officials at the Saskatchewan Games are provided with the opportunity to officiate at a high level of competition and in many cases be evaluated, assessed and certified for future competitions.
